Terms of Use
Version of October 15, 2026
Who can use Orby, what you agree to, and what we promise in return.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Orby, the company that runs the Orby app and joinorby.com. By creating an account you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy, the Community rules and the Consent agreement.
If we change them, we tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
Who can use Orby
You must be 18 or older, and allowed by the law where you live to use a dating and social app. One account per person.
Meeting people through Discover needs a verified identity. Someone who isn't who they say they are, or is under 18, loses their account.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else got into it.
Couples and groups are links between separate accounts: nobody speaks, agrees or acts for anyone else.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account. It's deleted for good, as the Privacy Policy explains.
What you share
You own what you post: photos, Moments, albums, posts and messages. You let Orby store it and show it to the people you chose, only to run Orby and keep it safe. This ends when you delete it or your account.
Only share what's yours, of people who agreed, and nothing sexually explicit in public places on Orby. Public photos and clips are checked automatically before others see them.
We can remove content, limit features or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the Community rules, and we try to tell you why.
Meeting people
Orby helps adults meet. We check identities, but we can't check everyone's intentions or behaviour. Meet in public first, tell a friend, and trust your instincts.
What happens between members, on Orby or off it, is their own responsibility. Report anything wrong; we act on reports.
Plus
Plus is an optional subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. It renews until you cancel it there, and their refund rules apply.
Safety tools, consent, saying no, stopping, blocking and reporting are always free.
Our promises and their limits
We work hard to keep Orby running and your data safe, but we provide Orby as it is, without guarantees that it's always available or free of errors.
As far as the law allows, Orby isn't liable for indirect losses, or for what members do to each other. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Law and contact
These terms follow the laws of Ontario and Canada, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
Questions or problems: write to us through Settings → Help, or at the address on joinorby.com.
Every member accepts this version in the app before entering. Orby keeps each version word for word, and a signed record of each acceptance.
